The public is invited to join the University of Hawaii at Hilo’s North Hawaii Education & Research Center in celebrating their 10 years serving the North Hawaii community on August 7.
The event will be held at the NHERC location in Honokaa from 11a.m.-2 p.m., including food, live music, face painting, balloons and games for keiki, a sneak peek at the progress made on the long-term exhibit at the Heritage Center and a silent auction to raise funds for student scholarships and the Heritage Center.
University and community leaders will attend the event beginning at 11 a.m.
